When the pressure in the pipeline system exceeds the set value, the pressure inside the valve acts on the spring or film, causing it to be subjected to greater pressure, thereby driving the valve to open and release excess pressure. When the pressure drops to the set value, the elastic force of the spring decreases and the valve closes automatically.‌
